Description: Made from recycled materials by Wycombe Creatives group for the centrepiece pageant of the Wyrd Wycombe Festival.
Is there is a folktale connected to your Giant or Beast? The story of the wyrm is from the 16th century. It appeared in a pond and was befriended by a local girl collecting water. But as it grew in size local farmers feared for their livestock. They used the girl as bait and killed the dragon when it appeared. Its skin was removed and stuffed with straw and paraded about the parish.
What Was the First Event the Giant / Beast Attended? Thame Mummers Play 1985. New dragon Wyrd Wycombe 2025.

Not yet as it’s fairly new! But it is appearing at Tring Apple Parade in Herts in October 2027, Halloween at the Hellfire Caves, High Wycombe Winter Solstice lantern parade, West Wycombe Summer Solstice 2027.
Who Carries the Giant / Inhabits the Beast, or Is It a Shared Role? It is carried by four people and dies battle with a lnight in full armour and pitchfork weilding locals!
How is it stored? Has a bespoke storage area owned the organisers of Wycombe street markets
