Lostwithiel, Cornwall has a time-honored tradition of parading giants through its streets, on New Year’s Eve.

In 2016, The Lost Giants, set out to revive this tradition and carry it forward, offering the opportunity to learn the art of giant making and infuse new life into this local celebration.

The Lostwithiel Giant Parade is our reason for being, with Ruth’s parents John and Frances Webb conceiving the celebration in 1990 alongside a raggle taggle bunch of musical friends. We continue this work each year, bringing giants and people from across the land together to mark tradition, and new beginnings.
