Standing over three metres tall, Tregeagle drew inspiration from the Cornish legend, reimagining the infamous figure as a guardian of Loe Pool and its unique freshwater landscape. With an all-seeing limpet-shell eye, Tregeagle symbolised protection of the pool’s wildlife, waters, and surrounding environment.

The project brought together artists, musicians, volunteers, and the local community for a joyful procession around the boating lake in Helston.

It was created in collaboration with Guy Watson and the Playful Park team, (South Kerrier Alliance) with live music by Daniel Woodfield and a band of local musicians. Foliage generously donated by Kehelland Trust and the Falmouth Town Council Grounds Team transformed the giant into a living embodiment of nature.
