In Summer 2023, Amy Webb went about weaving a giant willow nest with lots of little helpers as part of CAST-Off.

CAST Cornwall’s programme of free artist led creative activities ran every Saturday throughout the summer at National Trust Penrose.

Outer nest structure complete, we moved on to creating a soft and cosy inside layer on a handbuilt loom using a range of soft natural fibres.
